Job Description
Gandhi and Associates, Inc. in Chicago, Illinois is currently seeking for a Senior Level Licensed Professional Electrical Engineer with a minimum 10 years of experience in roadway lighting and intelligent transportation system design. The work will mostly consist of projects with governmental agencies such as Illinois department of Transportation (IDOT), Illinois State Highway Authority(ISTHA), and Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT). Building instrumentation control and fire alarm design is desirable.
Responsibilities and Duties
The senior Electrical Project Engineer will need to work with and lead Junior Engineers in multi-discipline projects. The primary responsibilities will be but not limited to:
• Project Design and Management
• Photometric Analysis
• Roadway and Underpass Lighting Design
• Intelligent Transportation System Design
• Communication System Design
• Design and Construction Cost Estimates
• Coordinate and work with clients and consultants
